About David Bank
David Bank is the Linux & Network Systems Administrator at Renaissance Computing Institute (RENCI), UNC-Chapel Hill. He is responsible for designing and building infrastructure to support research efforts in software-defined networking, cloud computing, and next-generation networks. David earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University; before joining RENCI, he served in various North Carolina State Government agencies, where he architected and delivered reliable network platforms and computing services, and was a key resource in the first successful public-sector implementation of a production-quality SAP HANA 2.0 environment.
